Williamsburg

Ahh...a walk through historic Williamsburg in the spring.
Lime green baby leaves.
Aged split rail fences.
Bursting daffodils.
Brisk wind.
People watching.
Horse drawn carriages.
Delighful costumes.
Nooks to explore.
Wicker baskets, handcarved tools.
Freshly turned earth.
Gardens just beginning to sprout.

  1. One of my favorite places - have been there too many times to count. Maybe in my retirement years it would be fun to work there as a historical character. But alas, having to wear those clothes in the humid weather we have in this area might change my mind. I love how they never come out of character. What a fun adventure for your children.
